We love Yangon street food

We only work with trusted vendors who love seeing new visitors come appreciate their home-style food. These stops are our favourite places to eat – the same places we take our family and friends, serving delicious and authentic eats.

Into the Unknown

Believe us, we know what it's like to arrive in an exotic country, not knowing the food or language and getting cornered into “pointing and picking” at user-friendly eateries. We take the guess work out of eating like a local in Yangon. A good way to begin your visit to Myanmar, we hope to provide you with the necessary know how to eat your way around Myanmar with culinary confidence and maybe even a few phrases.

Our tours have been thoughtfully planned  by our owner, Anglo-Burmese Marc Shortt a former chef who worked and travelled around the world for almost a decade. Growing up in the UK, family get-togethers really whet his appetite for Myanmar’s unique cuisine. After setting up home in Yangon in 2012, he's eaten and adventured his way around the city and country hunting down fascinating spots, family run joints and curious cuisines for you to try.
